USER TESTING.

Standardizing placement through form

Users often hesitated on where to place traditional mics.

The necklace format removed that uncertainty, scoring highest in aesthetics, comfort, usability, and placement consistency.

7 users were tested, ages 19-25 with a gender split of 4 women & 3 men.

USER TESTING CONT’

Finding the right proportion.

Three prototype sizes were tested across four users (2 men, 2 women).

The smallest format delivered the strongest balance of comfort, appearance, and daily wear.

Ergonomic refinement

Usability testing of the 3D printed prototype revealed a need to scale up slightly to accommodate for larger hands as well as change button positions and size.
